Bolle SILEX Safety Glasses are lightweight (30g), metal-free protective eyewear with a modern, sporty design.  These safety specs offer panoramic vision, maximum comfort and are ideal for a wide variety of work and leisure roles.  Available with a number of different lens types, including Clear (SILEXPSI), Smoke (SILEXPSF) and Amber (SILEXPSJ).  Tested and certified to EN 166:2001 and EN 170:2002 European safety standards.

The SILEX safety glasses feature a curved, wraparound polycarbonate (PC) lens that provides excellent mechanical protection and impact resistance.  The lens also features Bolle’s PLATINUM LITE coating technology, so it provides ultraviolet protection with anti-fog and scratch resistance.  The frame is made from polycarbonate (PC) and thermoplastic rubber (TPR) material, with Bolle’s FLEX 160° temples.  These temples adapt easily to all head shapes and face types, so they provide a superior fit.

EN 166:2001
Guaranteed minimum resistance of the protective eyewear against everyday risks including dropping the protective eyewear onto the ground, ageing by light exposure, exposure to heat or corrosion etc.

EN 170:2002
The protection filters ultraviolet radiation. This type of protection is particularly recommended during activities where the source of ultraviolet radiation is predominant, such as mercury vapor lamps, actinic or germicides. Levels of application: 2-1.2, 2C-1.2 Lens color: Clear, blue or green. Adding the code "C" indicates good color recognition by the holder
