Description

Bolle SILIUM+ Safety Glasses are ultra-lightweight (22g) and comfortable with a sleek, ergonomic design.  Ideal for extended use, they provide effective protection against both mechanical risks and ultraviolet light.  Tested and certified to EN 166:2001 and EN 170:2002 standards.  Available with Clear (SILPPSI) or Smoke (SILPPSF) lenses.  The Smoke lens provides excellent protection against ultraviolet light and solar radiation.

The SILIUM+ glasses feature ultra-thin temples made from polycarbonate (PC) and thermoplastic rubber (TPR) materials.  They sit comfortably on the face and provide a secure fit, and adapt perfectly alongside the use of other PPE.  The impact resistant polycarbonate lenses offers all-round vision and uses Bolle’s PLATINUM coating technology.  This permanent coating provides perfect optical quality while making the lens scratch-resistant and also helping to prevent fogging.  Supplied complete with microfibre pouch.

EN 166:2001
Guaranteed minimum resistance of the protective eyewear against everyday risks including dropping the protective eyewear onto the ground, ageing by light exposure, exposure to heat or corrosion etc.

EN 170:2002 (Smoke)
The protection filters ultraviolet radiation. This type of protection is particularly recommended during activities where the source of ultraviolet radiation is predominant, such as mercury vapor lamps, actinic or germicides. Levels of application: 2-1.2, 2C-1.2 Lens colour: Clear, blue, yellow or green. Adding the code "C" indicates good colour recognition by the holder.
