Description
Petzl PIXA 2 ATEX Zone 2/22 Head Torch is a powerful hands-free headlamp suitable for both proximity lighting and movement. Chemical resistant, IP67 waterproof to 1 meter and ATEX Zone 2/22 approved and certified for use in explosive environments. The torch can be worn on your head, mounted on a safety helmet or placed on the ground.
The PIXA 2 headlamp uses CONSTANT LIGHTING technology – the brightness does not decrease as batteries are drained. It automatically switches to reserve mode when the batteries are almost drained (this is signalled by a blinking light). The torch has an easy to use rotating dial with flood beam and mixed lighting modes. The flood beam mode is suitable for close range work with a 20 lumen output and 25 meter range. The mixed mode is ideal for movement, with 80 lumen output and 55 meter range.
Supplied complete with an elasticated head strap, a mounting plate for use with safety helmets and 2 x AA/LR06 batteries. The PIXA 2 head lamp can also be used with Hi-MH and lithium rechargeable batteries.
