Petzl PIXA 3 ATEX Zone 2/22 Head Torch is a powerful hands-free head lamp with three lighting modes for close range work, movement and long range vision. Chemical resistant, IP67 waterproof to 1 meter and ATEX Zone 2/22 approved and certified for use in dangerous environments. This versatile torch can be worn on your head, mounted on a safety helmet or placed on the ground.
The PIXA 3 head lamp uses CONSTANT LIGHTING technology – the brightness does not decrease as batteries are drained. It automatically switches to reserve mode when the batteries are almost drained (this is signalled by a blinking light). The torch has an easy to use rotating dial with flood, mixed and focused beam lighting modes. The flood beam mode is suitable for close range work with a 20 lumen output and 15 meter range. The mixed beam mode is ideal for movement, with 60 lumen output and 45 meter range. The focused beam also provides superb long distance vision with 100 lumen output and a 90 meter range.
The PIXA 3 is supplied ready to use with a washable elasticated headband, a mounting plate for use with safety helmets and 2 x AA/LR06 batteries. The PIXA 3 head lamp is also compatible with Hi-MH and lithium rechargeable batteries.
