Description
3M 6059 ABEK1 Gas & Vapour Filters are suitable for use with all 3M 6000, 7000 and 7500 Series face masks. These filter are suitable for use where dangerous gases and vapours are present in the workplace. For example, they can be used to provide protection against acid gases and ammonia. They can also be combined with 3M 5935 Particulate Filters using the 3M 501 Filter Retainers.
The 6059 filters are designed to provide a good field of vision, have low breathing resistance and are lightweight (100g each). They feature a bayonet locking mechanism for easy installation and a safe, secure fit. Tested and certified to EN 14387:2004+A1:2008 European safety standards.
ABEK1 – protects against organic vapours with boiling points above 65°C, inorganic gases, acid gases and ammonia vapours in concentrations of up to 10 x WEL or 1000ppm.
