Description
3M 6098 Gas, Vapour & Particulate Filters are versatile combination filters specifically designed to provide protection against single compound organic vapours with a boiling point below 65°. They also provide protection against particulates.
The 6098 filters ae shaped for use in a “swept-back” position, so they reduce obstruction to the user’s field of vision. They are also lightweight with low breathing resistance. They are easy to connect with a simple twist-and-click bayonet style locking mechanism for a safe and secure fit.
Please Note: the 6098 filters are to be used with 3M full face masks only.
AX – protects against single compound organic vapours with boiling point below 65°. Maximum use concentration depends on the particular low boiling point gas. Please contact the 3M Health & Safety Helpline on 0870 536 0036 for further advice.
P3 – protects against harmful or carcinogenic dusts, water and oil based mists or aerosols and biological agents of risk groups 2 and 3 in concentrations of up to 20 x WEL.
NR – non reusable. Suitable for single shift use only.
