Description

JSP PressToCheck P3 Dust Filter Cartridges are replacement filters for use with the JSP Force 8 Reusable Masks (sold separately).  These filters provide P3 level protection against water or oil-based mists and aerosols.  They are also suitable for working with toxic or carcinogenic dusts and biological agents.  For example, they can be used when working with hard woods, glass fibres, plastics, metal working or welding.

The JSP P3 filters use patent pending PressToCheck technology, so you can quickly and easily check your respirator’s seal.  Simply press the front and back of the filter covers together to stop air flow through the filters.  No air should come through the mask when you inhale – if it does, adjust the mask and repeat the test.

P3 – protects against harmful or carcinogenic dusts, water and oil based mists or aerosols and biological agents of risk groups 2 and 3 in concentrations of up to 20 x WEL.

R – reusable.  The filter can be used for longer than one shift and fulfils the 120 mg loading test with solids and liquid aerosols.
D – these filters have passed the Dolomite clogging test, giving the user better breathing resistance.
