3M 4279+ Maintenance Free Reusable Half Mask is a ready to use respirator with integrated filters. Versatile, easy to use and provides reliable protection against a wide range of gases and particulates. The half mask is exempt from the maintenance requirements of COSHH regulations if disposed of within 28 days. Alternatively replace the mask if it is damaged, breathing resistance increases or breakthrough occurs (whichever happens first).
ABEK1 – protects against organic vapours with boiling points above 65°C, inorganic gases, acid gases and ammonia vapours in concentrations of up to 10 x WEL or 1000ppm.
P3 – protects against harmful or carcinogenic dusts, water and oil based mists or aerosols and biological agents of risk groups 2 and 3 in concentrations of up to 20 x WEL.
R – reusable. The filter can be used for longer than one shift and fulfils the 120 mg loading test with solids and liquid aerosols.
D – these filters have passed the Dolomite clogging test, giving the user better breathing resistance.
