DuPont™ Tyvek® 500 Xpert CHF5 Hooded Coveralls offer superior Type 5 and Type 6 protection. Drawing on decades of experience in the field, the Tyvek® 500 Xpert disposable garments offer enhanced protection against a range of threats. For example, from water-based chemical liquid splashes, asbestos and pharmaceuticals to radioactive particulates and biological hazards.
Robust yet lightweight (under 180g per garment), the Tyvek® 500 CHF5 garments have a 3-piece hood for optimal fit to respiratory protection and during head movement. Elasticated face, wrists and ankles as well as glued-in waist elastic provide a secure, comfortable fit. The overalls give ample freedom of movement and have a large, easy-to-grasp zipper puller.
Tyvek® garments are made from flash spun, high density polyethylene, which provides a superb balance of comfort, durability and protection. Tyvek® material is permeable to both air and water vapour, yet repels water-based liquids and aerosols. It offers an excellent barrier against fine particles and fibres down to 1 micron in size. It is ultra-low-linting and anti-statically treated. Silicon non-added.
Tyvek® 500 coverings are ideal for use in a number of roles, from maintenance work to forensics. They have applications in medical care, chemical processing, the oil and gas industry, general cleaning and spray painting. Tyvek® limited life products were used around the world in health care centres in response to the COVID-19 pandemic.
