Height Safety Kits – Components & Uses
Fall protection kits typically include an anchorage, a lanyard and a full body harness. They may also include components such as scaffold hooks, karabiners, deceleration devices or lifelines. Fall Arrest equipment is designed to to protect the user in the event of a fall from height. In the event of a fall, the harness absorbs the kinetic energy to rapidly slow the rate of descent. Fall Restraint sets allow the user to work freely, but prevent them moving into areas where a fall may occur.
