Description

Bolle CONTOUR METAL Safety Glasses with increased upper protection and 160° flex frames.  The Bolle CONTOUR is one of the most popular safety glasses on the market.  This version comes with a metal frame at a heavier weight (38g), so it feels more robust but is still comfortable and offers a great level of protection.  Available with a Clear (CONTMPSI) or Smoke (CONMPSF) lens.

The glasses are sturdy, comfortable, and above all effective, providing superb all-round protection.  For example, the glasses provide protection from mechanical risks and ultraviolet light, and are anti-fog, anti-static and scratch resistant.  Tested and certified to EN 166:2001 and EN 170:2002 standards.

The CONTOUR METAL glasses have a durable stainless steel frame with brass TIPGRIP temples, so they are non-slip and provide a secure fit.  Soft and ultra pliable, Flex 160° frames can be used to adjust the space between the temples for better wearer comfort.  The glasses also feature an adjustable non-slip nose bridge, allowing them to sit comfortably on the user’s face.  The impact resistant polycarbonate (PC) lens uses Bolle’s CLEAR technology.  This permanent coating provides perfect optical quality while making the lens scratch-resistant and also helping to prevent fogging.

EN 166:2002
Guaranteed minimum resistance of the protective eyewear against everyday risks including dropping the protective eyewear onto the ground, ageing by light exposure, exposure to heat or corrosion etc.

EN 170:2002
The protection filters ultraviolet radiation. This type of protection is particularly recommended during activities where the source of ultraviolet radiation is predominant, such as mercury vapor lamps, actinic or germicides. Levels of application: 2-1.2, 2C-1.2 Lens colour: Clear, blue, yellow or green. Adding the code "C" indicates good colour recognition by the holder.

EN 172:1995
Filter protection for industrial solar radiation. Recommended for outdoor work, EN172 norm guarantee a protection of 99.99% from ultra-violet solar radiation. Levels of application: 5-3.1 (Polarized) 5-2 (Twilight), 5-1.4 (ESP or CSP), 5/1.1-1.4 (Contrast), 5-2.5 and 5 to 4.1 (smoke) Lens colour: depends on the lens technology.
