Lanyards

Lanyards are an essential part of safety when working at height.  They act as a connector between a worker’s safety harness and an anchorage point.  Different types of height work require different types of connector, so it is important to choose the one best suited for your role.

Lanyards – Types & Uses

Restraint lanyards (EN 354) prevent the risk of falling by limiting the area a worker can move.  Fall arrest lanyards (EN 355) protect a worker in the event of a fall.  They feature built in shock absorbers to reduce the force exerted on the user.  Work positioning lanyards (EN 358) allow the user to work with both hands free.  Self-retracting lifelines (EN 360) allow a worker to be active and mobile while remaining safely secured.
