DuPont™ Tychem® 6000 F Apron Accessory PL50 is a protective apron available in two sizes. Shin-length gown with wrap-over rear closure, hook and loop neck closure, waist ties and elasticated wrists. Tychem® accessories (aprons, gowns, overboots, sleeves) provide extra protection when working with hazardous substances. Designed for use with Tychem® 6000 F disposable garments (sold separately).
The PL50 apron accessory is made from Tychem® 6000 F fabric with elasticated openings and stitched and overtaped seams. Tychem® 6000 F is a lightweight, durable fabric consisting of a proprietary barrier film laminated to a heavy duty Tyvek® substrate. This material offers excellent chemical permeation protection against a wide range of inorganic chemicals. This includes toxic industrial organic chemicals, highly concentrated inorganic chemicals (even under pressure), particulates, biohazards and certain chemical warfare agents. Tychem® 6000 F is used for a broad range of applications including chemical spill clean-up, emergency response, military and petrochemical applications.
