The MSA V-Gard 500 Non Vented Safety Helmet, with its distinctive trademark “V” design, is a world recognized brand known for comfort, quality, and durability. The V-Gard 500 safety helmet is made from high quality ABS which gives the wearer a high level of protection. The helmet’s high profile design means it can also be fitted with ear defenders; such as the 3M Peltor Optime II or 3M Peltor Optime X4P3. MSA also produce their own range of compatible ear defenders. Protective eyewear can also be worn alongside the helmet without hindering it’s use. The helmet also has a rain gutter for working outdoors. Available with either the MSA Push-Key sliding suspension or Fas-Trac III ratchet suspension:
- MSA Push-Key sliding suspension – easy to use with a simple “push to loosen, squeeze to tighten” action that can be adjusted with one hand, even while worn.
- MSA Fas-Trac III wheel ratchet suspension – smooth rotation with reduced effort to turn, the easy grip wheel ratchet can be adjusted even with gloves on.
