Description
Portwest FR09 FR AS Balaclava is a flame resistant and anti static hood accessory. Provides reliable protection against radiant, convective and contact heat in the workplace. The balaclava has a high cotton count, so it is comfortable to wear and is also ideal for cold weather and outdoor work.
The FR09 balaclava is made from Modaflame Knit fabric (60% modacrylic, 39% cotton, 1% carbon fibre 300gsm). This material has inherently flame resistant properties that don’t diminish with washing. Easy to care for and machine washable up to 40°C. Tested and certified to EN ISO 11612:2015 (A1, B1, C1, F1) and EN 1149-5:2018 European safety standards. ASTM F1959/F1959M-12 (ATPV 16 Cal/cm² (HAF 86%)) (2013).
