DuPont Tyvek® 500 Labcoat With Press Studs And Pockets PL30 is a specially designed single use accessory. The DuPont™ range of Tyvek® accessories offer a superb balance of protection, durability and comfort. Tyvek® garments and accessories are made from flash spun, high density polyethylene with ultra low linting. They provide an extra layer of protection for exposed body parts, which helps to prevent exposure to hazardous materials.
The PL30 lab coat has simple press stud fasteners and stitched internal seams for durability. It also has two waist pockets and a pen pocket. Both sides of the garment are anti-statically treated to EN 1149-1 standards. It is permeable to both air and water vapour, but also repels water based liquids and aerosols. It also gives excellent protection against a wide range of environmental hazards. This includes dust, fine particles and fibres down to 1 micron in size.
The Tyvek® lab coat is suitable for use in a wide range of health care and industrial roles. For example, it can be used for chemical protection, pharmaceutical handling, lead and asbestos removal, general repairs, maintenance or cleaning and more. Tyvek® limited life products were used around the world in health care centres in response to the COVID-19 pandemic.
